Rim row 3/8 flat
Cut all inside spokes and tuck all outside spokes.
Measure the inside and outside adding two inches to each measurement. Using 5/8 flat oval for the rim, cut to the measurements. Shave the end's top on one side, under on the alternate side. Clothespin to the basket. Line with seagrass.
Using the medium chair cane, lash on the rim.

*When using dyed reed, it is a good idea to just dunk it and then wipe with a rag. Many time I find with red that it bleeds.

Note from the Country Seat - please see our Tips Page for tips on dyeing reed and stopping dyed reed from bleeding.
