Amber Ash is a flecked tan.
4" wide x 1/4" thick ceramic base with "paisley" design pushed into the clay. The positioning and exact design showing on the base will vary from base to base but all are made with the same pattern.18 holes are spaced around the edge, the holes are approximately 1/2" apart but may vary slightly.
#3 or #4 Round Reed (RR) can be used.
If used as a coiling base, the fist time around stitch into each hole 2 or 3 times depending on how far apart you would like your stitches.
Bases are glazed on the top and bottom but a piece of felt or felt feet (see related products) can be used to protect surfaces.
