1/2" wide Woodgrain flat oval reed.
Flat on one side and gently rounded on the other.
Offers a very natural look to your baskets.
Mostly used for rims but thinner cut pieces can be used for spokes and/or weavers on large, sturdy baskets.

A good quality reed as it normally grows, natural colors may vary from creamy white to tan to grey streaked to dark tan/brown. There is no guarantee of particular colors in any given coil. Some coils may include more colors than others and the colors are not always down the entire length of a piece so one end may be dark while the other end is light. There are many variations because it is just like the grain in a piece of wood, each one might be different from the next.
Tends to be hairier than Select Quality Reeds.
Coils are made up of multiple pieces of varying lengths.
ALL reed is cut by hand on simple machines and may have a true measurement of slightly larger or smaller. Please specify if a true width is needed.
