Medium DOval handle set.
5" wide x 8" long oblong oval (also called racetrack oval - very rounded ends), oak base with slot (groove) around the rounded edge comes with a precut 6" x 10" D handle ready to attach. The base is 5/8" thick wood with a 1/2" deep slot with a wider center slot to accept the cut ends of the D handle.
This handle set is sold as two pieces and must be put together at home.
Place a few drops of woodglue into the wide center slots. Slide the cut ends of the D handle into place and tie string around handle base or place rubber band near bottom of handle. Let dry overnight and it's ready to weave.
The base has a great surface for woodburning, painting, stenciling, staining or decorating with rub-on paint designs.
All wooden items require some degree of sanding.
