God, I LOVE this basket stain. It's undeniably superior to oil-based wood stains and sealants for staining baskets or woven furniture. No more diluting messy wood stains or using drippy sponge brushes. The stain applies in an extremely fine mist that coats evenly in one pass. That's it. Clear and clean your spray nozzle, set your basket out in the sun to dry, and you are DONE. I purchased the Oak color because I'm obsessed with Artifact Trading Company's rattan products in Honey Brown, and I found Oak to be an EXACT match. Now I can purchase unfinished rattan items on Amazon and stain them myself at a fraction of the cost. And you CAN'T tell the difference. Well—there is one difference. Baskets finished with Weaver's Stain will remain in better shape than retail baskets sealed with polyurethane since the reeds become more flexible and durable. No more shredded basket detritus on my shelves. . . Sigh. I heart Weaver's Stain.
