Description
Unique basket based on an antique basket Anne found on her travels. Woven mainly with round reed, the base is solidly woven and bispoked. The sides are woven in two colors with a technique called ‘ridge weave’; rim is wrapped with cane. The handle, which is also wrapped with cane, is split on either end.
A lot of unique features about this basket.
#2 & #3 Round Reed, 3/16" Flat Oval, #9 Round Reed for rim and handle and Common Cane for wrapping the rim and handle.
